(1.28"). Weather clear, few CiCu to west calm. Set trap in the pen & baited with 1/2 can of grain (one day estimated ration). All grain put out Thursday had been eaten. I cleaned the observation shut, in- c luding evicting one house mouse. Stopped probable mouse entrance with steel wool, and sprayed with in- secticide when I left at 1535.
