Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 1730 Weather at Behavin Lab.: overcast CU and SC, cloud base just at the station, clearing to the west after rain from mid-morning to 1700. Baited and set trap in the pen, serviced rain gauge. Oct. 16. Strawberry Canyon Alameda County. 0815 at Behavin Lab. Weather 8/10 CU, SC, and AC, clearing after early morning rain. Ground very wet after rain yesterday + last night totalling .64". serviced trap + read rain gauge. Light to moderate wind with mod- erate turbulence. Spread another 1/2 can of grain in + around the trap and left it set. Left station at 0850. 1630 again checked trap, and left it unset. Spread a full can of grain both as bait and for food supply. Oct. 18. Strawberry Canyon Alameda County. 0920 at Behavin Lab. pen. Weather clear, hazy, very light wind with slight turbulence. Checked trap in the pen - grain not completely eaten
