Checked trap - empty with no evidence of bait being taken. Several instruments in the pen. 1910. Checked trap, no evidence of use. Sept. 17. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 1730. Serviced food, water, and trap. Bait around and in trap was about 3/4 eaten but no birds in the trap - apparently the funnel opening is not a barrier to whatever is eating the grain. Rebaited, & adjusted entrance. Sept. 18. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 1730 Serviced the trap in the Behavin Lake. Sept. 19. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 1400. Checked food & replenished water in the Behavin Lake pen, and serviced trap outside. Sept. 20. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 1330 Serviced trap in the Behavin Lake.
