Filled water hole and spread a can of pigeon grains plus a can of hen chow. Checked instruments operation and rain gage (.08"). For the first time in nearly two months, there are no small birds in the pen - juncos, finches, goldfinches, song sparrows, and one Red-breasted Nuthatch have been noted inside in the past - apparently attracted by the water hole.
