At Behavin Lab. pen 1825. Weather clear and sunny, light wind with moderate turbulence, as it has been all day. At 1912 the ground surface inside the pen was completely shaded from the sun by hills to the west. At 1930 entire top of pen in shade, surrounding trees still sunlit. Ended obs. at 1945. July 1.
