June 29. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County. Weather clear and warm with light wind all day today. In Behavin Lab. pen 1730 to 1755. June 30. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County. At Behavin Lab. pen 1825. Weather clear and sunny, light wind with moderate turbulence, as it has been all day. At 1912 the ground surface inside the pen was completely shaded from the sun by hills to the west. At 1930 entire top of pen in shade, surrounding trees still sunlit. Ended obs. at 1945. July 1. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County. 0925 at Behavin Lab. pen. Weather overcast ST, just beginning to break to the west of this area, but with the top of Grizzly Peak Observed in thick clouds. Light wind with moderate turbulence. No deer fly-drip.
