empty. Filled pool with rain water
down small ditch from water faucet.
Set modified trap.
June 4. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County.
at the behavior lab at 0810, weather
clear, sunny, & calm, good visibility.
Serviced instruments + ran water to
pool, observing from 0840 to 0930.
1920 Evening observation at the Behavior
lab. Weather partly cloudy with 4/10
AC, sun obscured by clouds in the
west, light wind and turbulence.
Turned off running water, left trap
set, + left at 2015.
June 5, Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County.
0830 weather clear with 1/10 SC over
windward slopes and few AC, light
to moderate westerly wind, little or
no turbulence. Cut weeds and
searched for nests until 0925;
left trap set near water hole and
left a trickle of water running.
June 6, Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County.
1940 weather clear, very light wind.
