Strawberry Canyon, Ala- mada County, Calif. 0830 Weather overcast with thick st, base about 200 feet above station at Behavin Labs., moderate SE wind with moderate turbulence, visibility locally good. Serviced and checked instruments at 0840-0850. Flushed 2 SB and 14 while chopping weeds in A-10; up to 0930 no other birds seen in the pen, three 3 remained hidden until I came very close. May 28. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County, 1915 Weather at Behavin Labr: station within clouds - ST overcast over the hills with base about 50 feet below station, light wind with little or no turbulence. Visibility about 100 yards. Both wind & turbulence increasing to moderate from 1930 to 2000. June 3. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County. At Behavin Labr 'per year sunset'; arrived when sunlight was clear of wire enclosure but still on tops of surrounding trees. Weather clean, warm, & sunny. Moderate wind in surrounding area but nearly calm
