Weather clear, moderate wind with very little turbulence. Checked instruments & spread 3 days ration of pigeon grains. 1915 Again at behavior lab, weather clear & calm. Ended also at 2013. May 13. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County. 0815 Weather overcast AS with broken SC, light southerly wind. Observing in behavior lab till 0915. May 14. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 1600 - Observing birds in Behavior Lab pen. 1615 Serviced instruments, in- stalled Taylor hygothermograph, and filled water pool. 1645 Baited and set trap in brush down hill from the lab. May 15. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 0830 Checked walk-in traps (no sign of birds near) and set Bailey trap against fence outside of pen. Weather clear, calm, and sunny, vegetation quite wet with dew.
