f South of Danneville, Adams Co. Little Flat Rock Below 4 feet of white limestone the 2 feet of stone write the re- currental chert layers and nodules as described at E were apparently recognized as identical. About 4 1/2 feet below the chert beds Pteroceras gerrniformis was rather common. Atyphara tumulus. Below this were 5 feet of stone to the creek bed. The 4 1/2 feet of stone below the chert beds were again the ones to be quarried. The stone was bluish and much inferior to the fine stone at E. Prof. W. P. Shannon, on E. Central Ave. Dr. Howard, St Paul. Jenkins collected a little. His em is county superintendent of instruc- tion. Dr. Washburn at Waldron. Hartville. Dr. Elrod moved to Columbus. Conocardium in bed of Middle Fork near bridge on Hartville & Breeseburg pike, in Decatur County, about 4 mile east of county line, + 1 mi north of Smy's mill & falls.
