At [illegible] 17 the elevation is 175 feet above Laurel for the base of the Clinton.
f. face of clinton 187 feet above laurel. Clinton at least 2 1/2 feet thick probably thicker. Rhinorhina frond artini Day, species of lymex, Septacula alvea and other blue limon not calum brown.
g. base of Clinton 188 feet above Laurel. Clinton at least 3 feet thick and possibly not exceeding 3 1/2 feet. Clay red rock in limestone but not calum brown.
i. Base of Clinton 202 feet above Laurel. Clinton & calum brown color. Below clinton is 1 foot of large nodular material and then the thick blue lime-stone which east of St. Maurice had the same marks on top.

k. face of Clinton 230 feet above Laurel See variation of barometer. Clinton is about 5 feet thick calum brown.
l. Clinton 220 above Laurel, see variation of barometer. Clinton calum brown.

Base of Walden shale at Cornis Creek is 90 feet below RR at St Paul.
