Peripheral band apparently trilinea- te in type fig 2 a here the middle line is rather acute } and is nearer the upper bordering line of the band, than near the lower bordering line. Periph band not prominent In a second specimen in the same slot which may belong to a distinct species, the band is distinctly trilineate ; in this the middle line scarcely more prominent than the other 2, the intermediate spaces concave. Peripheral end rounded as in L. linita = Tentaculites Second Oulaski is solid blue & with Cyathia striata Dalmannii Calyptrena Ogygomachis Orthoceras with transverse striae + Arniitoma gracilis 1 a according to Cribl, but of Mr. Hall's figures are rather getting wonny since the lower spiral angle The specimen does not terminate anywhere near the tip.
