Note directions between points from S.E. towards, 150 yards.

S.S.W. The distance being about 190 yards mark the ground by a stake or stone at each corner, then go back to the first point and measure again.
Then taking the compass bearing of the line on which you are standing, turn to the left hand side from the point of the compass, and go forward 450 yards. The direction being S.W. by West, take a stake or stone for this purpose at every 100 yards.

S.S.W. Take direction from W.N.W. & 300 yards, then turn to left hand side of the compass and go forward 600 yards.

S 28 W confirmation about 175 yards, then turn to right hand side of the compass and go forward 4 feet more south.

S 15 W at Conklin's farm on N.W. side & 300 yards.

In two hours from this you will get to a cross road at about 9 o'clock. Turn to right hand side of the compass and go forward 600 yards, then turn to left hand side of the compass and go forward 3 feet 6 inches more.

385 W towards settlement on N.W. side about 800 yards. The first point is at the corner with a stake for it.
