R 4 13 At the south end is amygdoloid.
Further north (50 steps) are greenish slates, strike
N 25 E dip 25 E. This greenish slate has the
gemmed red tinge of the Cambrian at all any
places, at some places the purplish color only
marked and the strike changes to EY W, dip 65 S.
Bridging this set slates to the West's one of the amyg
doloid,
Further north is plentiful conglomerate N 30 E dips
north 20 think. Therefore cut in line with plate.
R 4 14 Slate on west, red purple Cambrian N 10 E dip 20 W.
Conglomerate forming long broad ridge to the east.
R 4 15 On south towards middle of this hill is conglomer
erate, on this slate on west showing faintly in
places, at north end is rotten brownish conglom
erate dips 45 swt, east of this red from Cambrian
sandstone and slate, dips 45 east, strike N 8
about, the two join conformably. Further east
is a large arm part of old Cambrian slate
strike N 4 S, dips 45 W, across the strike 50
R 4 16 steps. Further E is 50 feet more of slate can dip.
Then 15 steps of conglomerate. Then 50 feet of
slate, then 50 feet of conglomerate red series,
At east end is abundant conglomerate. Following
the great edge of this ridge on theward I find
that the slate kindred somewhat lines the east
side for quite a long distance.
