Big 4 9:45 PM, Dayton 11:35 PM From C Murray school south 3/4 mi. then east, at first whitish clay supposed to be Cent Archad, further east is Behir Black Shale dipping 30° or more eastward. Then further east is sandy looking rock which may be Brown West Union. 3/8 mi E by S side, at right angle where road turns north, West Union lineetone, with Cladofora, small called Farmites, Half a mile S of Scurry Corner School the Corner 826, the face of the Ellen tangs is exposed at 826 USGS. and thus and the Black Shale cross the farm land as far south as the next depression in the road. East of corra 826 tip of Monroe occurs and 1/4 mile east is face of Ellen tangy at 820 about, From Scurry Corner School to house 1/2 mi NE then top of Monroe = about 8:15. Up creek SE of house, in creek bed, and about 27 ft below house level = Allen tang-Monroe contact. = dip 6 east. At house tip of Monroe is about 15 feet below house level
