Drove to CGS Shacks, saw Peregrine Falcon. Curse on myself all the way back to camp for shotgun! Returned - no birds. Some people never learn! Walked slope below CGS, Pow sight low polygon area, and W. Holmes' Morass for 1/2 hrs - saw exactly 1 shorebird. I can not believe this is normal! Last year in late August Here were many more. Where are all the young of the year ??? Walked back through drum area - saw shorebirds out, 0 shorebirds!! Gets discouraging.
