looked around here a while.
Planned to go out after dinner,
but lab schedule slide slow by
Hultfve, so stayed in for that. During
slow rain turned to snow, and by
5:00 there was ca. 1 inch on the ground.
Took a few pictures around the lab,
then went out to live plots with
Stevens and Holland. Really beautiful
grass sticking out over the snow -
untracked, clean...... even were the
barrels look almost quaint. Found
a brood of red-backs no more than
3 days out of egg running across
snow near AAEs. Hope those pictures
turn out!
Storm too passed by 10:00. Came
in and wrote notes to music again.

Barrow, Alaska
Didn't do a damn thing
today! Weather was cold and misty,
with occasional periods of frozen
mist. "There won't be any activity
today" rationalized I, and since we
didn't have a weasel - stayed in
and wrote several letters, worked
on skeletal material, waved good bye
to hogsoon bound for the train,
