Plowers. Found jaeger pair #2 shots
by eskimos, saw 2 white rumps together-
collected one.
Returned for dinner and spent
evening processing days bill, writing
notes and letters, and listening to music.
Barrow, Alaska
Morning was spent in making live
mount of remaining immature Ploemigan.
Except for the Ostrich legs, not too
bad. Again I'm looked again.
After lunch, took jeep out to
Pitelka's Plots. Beats leak out of a
weasel. Very embarrassing - found
Buff-Breast with 3 juvs, almost
ready to fly. Cat crow! Also found
flocking adult red-backs in dried
up ponds, feeding in muck. Saw
juvenile pectorals that couldn't have
been more than 3 days out of
egg, next to flying immature pectorals.
Surprises at overlap, 'specially since
white-rumps were so synchronous.
Saw juvenile of Pom Targer #4 in
Holmes' Marsh. Took 2 kip Ciser
from passing flock. Observed
feeding in Marsh and Plots, then
returned to Stevens' Plots. Brought
