Maclean 1964 Journal *#1;-, came into fins our about lemming project. Gag and I tried to be patient with He idiot as we oversimplify and tries to put the project into Nat'l Geographics terms. Agrees to go out with him and try to get some pictures. MaƱana. Tceul 0 Sept, Stearns and I went up to Pitekka's Plot and searched for shorebird life here, then searched Holmes' Mounds, then Dow Main Polygon, then Beach Ridge, then got pisses off and went in. I think maybe they took the general sour to the turnip and let them shore birds for entertainment. They didn't miss many! Collected 4 cisco, and checked 2 Daphneine nests, then went in. First real rain of season this evening. Not much as that, but enough to keep birds down. Put up red-back, wrote notes, played ping-pong, then B.S.'ed 'till 2:00.
