Macken 1966 Tom arrived at Barrow from the Medoe and we Discussed Cape Thompson- specifically mouse trapping and mosquito trapping catching. I want to use mosquitos (as a readily available adult Dipteran) to test this discrepancy between Holmes' and my own insect weights. Will test final weights (and caloric values?) of samples treated with (following Holmes) 70% EtOH, 10% EtOH, direct oven dry, and (As U.S.A. procedure) freeze dried.
