MacEden 1966 just in time to get in on another abortive NASA rocket launch. Finally stumbled home around 1:30 A.M. and fell into the rack. 30 July Barrow, Alaska Up late. Glued up tanglefoots and went out for the change 1 day late. Lots of Muscids, but not much else. I would like to switch to 6 day periods, but the glue might change in stickiness and alter the results. Better stick to 3 days as much as possible. Checked pitfall traps for beetles - found only 1/4" of water from last night's and this morning's rain. The carcasses produced only 1, and turning drums 1 other. Went to dinner at Brower's Cafe with Crystals - weather bureau people. Found out that this is within reach of being the wettest July on record. 31 July Barrow, Alaska 1 Cardiio in pitfall, but ? or carcasses and 1 other under a board. Morning rain - beautiful afternoon - rain again all evening. After bug check wrote notes, then counted and cleaned tanglefoots. Johnneumonios
