March 1966 It quit altogether and we came in and left it with Kenny Tooale for repair. Put the samples, such as they are, in Berlese funnels, then went to dinner. Spent the evening in Barrow. 14 July Barrow, Alaska Heavy rain this morning. This is shaping up as a good wet year. The funora is very wet, and also quite green. Don't know if there is a connection. In the afternoon we went out to AACS area. Tom set traplines VII and VIII while Diko and I chased the knot with young that he has found last night. Found it and got some pictures which could be sensational. Walked around some looking at flowers. This is definitely a good flower year - many species are blooming in large patches. Again - Don't know where connections are to be made. Walked up to Tanglefoot #1 and met Tom with the vessel. Changed these flats. Near Micro-mer tower noticed Pedicia hawaii 0767 abundant in wet marsh along road, and made a collection. PP were much less
