Mackean 1966 we caught it, since they were having little luck. Drove back to Barrow for a late lunch, then gooped up 12 tanglefoot slats and headed out again. Dropped Nike by set I and changed these, then drove to set II and dropped off Tom to check traplines VII and VIII while I changed slats here to synchronize the two sets. It is obvious that the catch is increasing, indicating increased food availability. From the one day run on set II, it appears that they will be more productive. Spent part of the evening processing today's specimens, then went into town. 9 July Barrow, Alaska Never two consecutive good days at Barrow. Rain, fog, cold and miserable.
