Finally, after much aggravating B.S. - we're back to 584, which is the one Tom left out by traplines IV + VI on Sunday. Gummed up 6 new tanglefoot slats, and after dinner went out to place them. Put them in pairs, oriented perpendicularly- 2 on Pitelke's Plot - ridge top, 2 in ridge swale, and 2 on Central Marsh. Central Marsh slats were accumulating animals as soon as they were placed in the grounds. Fog and rain tried to clear early in the evening, but gave up the attempt and rolled in worse than ever.
