MacLenn 1966 to go, and after this "you're on your own". Returned to camp and could not start truck, so had to use the wedzel again to take them into town. The tour bus had already gone to the airport so took the wedzel all the way to the waiting C-46. By this time it was foggy and raining steadily. I had missed dinner at camp by several hours, so stopped by Jan Erna's and let her and Eunice Brower take me to dinner at al's Cafe before returning to camp. Since I had kept wedzel, went our and checked traplines VII and VIII - nothing but rain-tripped traps. Returned to a warm bed. 7 July Barrow, Alaska Weather foggier and rainier. First wedzel had a separated jack, so got another and Tom left for the traplines. He was a long time in returning, and then brought word that this wedzel had quit on him. Went our to check it, and found it non-functional. Reported
