Maelan 1966 winds blowing over So. Salt Lagoon (W) and Family Lagoon and Voth Road (E.). I convinced her (easy to do - she was looking for encouragement) to move nests c. 1 mile farther up the Voth Road, to a moderately polygonal area where wind blows across fresh turnara. This means dis- and re-assembling the nest frame, but this was not much of a problem. New area has several nests to be found; marked a 4 egg long spur for her to check, semi-pal around nests was scolding us, baird's farther down the polygon. Good area - hope she appreciates it. Watched birds for a while, then returned, ate and sacked out for a while. Then, finally, picked up masonite strips and went out to change strips in tanglefoot traps. A cold, strong wind was blowing, making job a bit difficult. Tanglefoot would not squeeze out of the tube when cold, and my hands were not at their functional best. Next time - prepare the strips before going out. After dinner wrote notes and
