Collected them all. Drove on a bit,
ate lunch, then drove some more.
Discouraging - there is just not much
Down there. No Baird's, 1 semi-
pal, very few plovers and turnstone,
occasional Phalaropes. Collected a few
feeding observations, and found but
more nest - a 2 egg phalarope, 07
in attendance, on South footprint lake.
Collected 9 birds, then came in.
After dinner lay down for a
while which stretched out, then
began work on today's stomachs
while my laundry was washing and
drying. Finally quit early on:

Weather worse. Spent the
morning working on yesterday's stomachs.
there are some good ones, including
a phalarope with 339 Chironomus
larvae, and several new unidentifiables.
In the afternoon gave up on waiting
for the weather to improve; packed
up the vessel with the vacuum insect
Sampler and headed for Voth area.
And the weather got worse. Changed
up the motor and played around
with the devise - trying to manipulate
