Weather is cold and windy. Drove directly to North end of Ikorovik via Footprint Lake for first stop, then on to Holmes' plot. Dear! Shorebird activity was very bad. Saw 4♂ +1♀ Pectoralis below plot and a few red- backs on the plot in walking the entire length. Both species were displaying sporadically - low intensity interactions in pectoralis. Walked back to N. end of plot closer to lake and collected a few observations, a few red-backs, and a red-back nest.
