Took camera and got few shots at Parasitic Jaeger, and collected some feeding data. Johnson's seminar tonight on CRPDL project - finally found out what some of these stakes are about. Then finished Parasitic Jaeger begun before seminar, and went out into field. Went to Gas-line ridge without a gun- usually the quietest spot on the tundra; tonight..... place was wild with activity. Caught 11 birds in traps; flock of white-rumps, group of Semi-Pole, and various assorted species making all kinds of noise and commotion - mostly distraction. Remains 'till 1:00 A.M. - then nursed sick weasel back to Micro-met wannigan and stayed there remainder of night. 16 July Barrow, Alaska Put in a little extra rack time, then wrote notes and letters.
