one flies by. Big movie night - Disney's the Living Desert. Baaf! Can't tell a Goo Damn Paronygus maniculatus from a "kangaroo rat"... 13 July Barrow, Alaska Put up Parasitic Jaeger, Henderson to put up Western Sandpiper chick from Wainwright, since specimens are probably few and far between. Went out with Joap and Miller to Uoth area and played tag with Mr. Unpik for a while. Little shorebird activity. Magnificent clear day, with a cold wind from the North. After evening repair went out to photograph ye Hundra. Couldn't resist few shots at Mrs. Hyemalis, but otherwise got (hopefully) some good vegetation pictures. Got my butt whipped at pool, then wrote acupla letters. 14 July Barrow, Alaska Spent day in R field collecting seabird data along Beach Ridge, Holmes' Marsh, and Pitelka's Plot. Not bad activity. Clear, with cold North wind. Evening - went to show (that picture should break me of the habit!).
