Maclean 1966 Walked down Beach Ridge to Ctg.S. ♂ white rump displayed - saw very rapid chase involving two birds. Two pairs of reo-backs, pair of Semi-pals on ridge; little activity. Returned via aacs and saw Semipalmated Plover sitting quietly on disturbed polygon by Medoe River Wannigan road. In the afternoon drove our road across Beach Ridge - saw ♂ white-rump in same place - then to S. end of P's plot. Pitelka censused plot while Nito and I walked down ridge to corner by Wohlslag slough, and along N. shore of slough. Watched a very cooperative pair of baird's by South end of plot. Not much else cooperated. Saw and observed occasional reo-backs and a pair of turnstones in vicinity of CRRRL wannigan. Reo-backs were obviously not completely settled, and boundaries were still in dispute. Still not much bare ground for them to settle on. In the evening went across Wohlslag Slough to do some collecting - and a very successful evening it was. First collected a pair of turnstones - ♂ SM 492 - W/
