MacLean 1965 Journal He drove back for weasel left by R.B.H. His A.M.. Decides to go to the show for a dance this evening. How 'bout that?! 2 August Barrow, Alaska Spent the day packing and waiting for a plane to Cape Thompson. To never waste it. Typical are nobody knows nuthin' operation. Meanwhile rain starts and washes our the evening. Lit up about 9:00, so went out and walked the beach with R.B.H. looking at ice, debris, and generally contemplative. Not much variety, but plenty of each! 3 August Barrow, Alaska Plane left for Thompson this afternoon, with Bob but without the two. Plans for return are too vague; I don't want to get stuck down here. Hopefully I'll go down for an R.O.N. when we go after Bob. Spent afternoon in the office to clean up the piles of paper accumulating on my desk. After dinner drove out and parked by micro-met and started walking. Beautiful cool, partially cloudy evening.
