Maclean 1965 Journal weasel, fighting off mosquitoes, laughs for half an hour when Frank fell off into a puddle. Met Bob and Paul right after we stopped for lunch. They followed us for awhile after, but then turned back. Saw 4 spectacles cider w/ 4 chicks about 5 miles after they turned back. Aimed for narrow neck of land on W. Side of Bungoook. Stopped at Sabine Gull colony of ca. 150 birds. Could find no nests or juveniles, but enough feathers and droppings to indicate birds have been here quite a while. Were in same spot last year. Wonder what's up. Ca. 10 terns mixed in with gulls. Likewise could find no young. Collected 7 gull - t. about 6-7 mm, no b.p.. Continued South, but stopped about half way down Bungoook when we were all falling asleep. Did fall asleep while driving home - pretty hard to do in a weasel. Picked up 2 owls for Brewer on the way home (eggh!).
