Macka 1964 Journal 9 22 June Barrow, Alaska An astounding stars..... made it to breakfast. Spent A.M. collecting feeding data W. of gas-line ridge. Not too many: 000-014 - Weather cool (ca. 38°40'), foggy. Afternoon clear, warm (ca. 42°-44°), little wind. Covered Beach Ridge, then area west. 015-04A. After dinner copied notes and processed Lemmings. 23 June. Barrow, Alaska Worked area W. of Beach Ridge and gasline. Weather clear + sunny, warm. 045-067. Afternoon - worked Beach Ridge and polygonal area W., then polygonal area behind Pow sights. Good activity on slope E. of Pow sights. Flecked ca. 15 Rectorals, 2 white-rumps, and 2 red-backs feeding together - no antagonism. After dinner went to Naliquetuk in Village. Returned at 3:00 A.M., and lit each at 4:00. 24 June Barrow, Alaska Little trouble getting up this morning! Struggled into lunch, and never stopped struggling all day. Clocks
