Weather greatly improves, so
went out to Duck Camp again.
Took boat up to mouth of Wohleslag
Slough and took 12 eggs. Could not
get more. Birds were flying at about
1 flock/5 minutes. Common seems to fly

although too few observations to definitely

Barrow, Alaska
Out to Micro-Mes area in afternoon.
We have reached that time of the
season...... nothing! Tundra is now
very green - with no dead grass on top
of the living it is very obvious - but no
Shadbirds enjoying it. Too Bad.
Went into town for ball game
in evening, then walked back along beach.
Saw several groups of murres, few
Sabines, glaucous gulls.
