Barrow, Alaska
Sacked our most of afternoon, due to
lack of sleep for involves reasons last ae.
Walked out through drum area after
dinner while others went to flick. Founds
semi-pal nest w/ 4 eggs by Jonesway
bus or end of drum area. Watches
another pair of semi-pals and pair of
Bairds, but fails to locate nest.
Checks an ANCS Pectorals - seem to
be in no hurry to get on with breeding.
Still largely social, with bursts of
sexual activity.
Checks Micro-Var red-back nest -
now 4 eggs, 3 normal, 1 abnormal. White-
rump nest is now empty. Damn!
Mr Hamilton + DeBenedictis checking
lines 9+10 and rose in. Big discussion
of progress of project to date, mixed with
interesting bull shit. Everyone seems to be
fairly well satisfied. Have to fir storebin
transsects larger.
