Maclean 1965 Journal phenology and feeding sets. Weather cool and windy, but not too bad after what this month has produced. Found almost nothing all afternoon. Britta's area blank; few red-backs and semi- pale, occasional pectorals & golden plovers in both low polygons. Collected 1 pectoral. All in all, not a productive afternoon! 24 June Barrow, Alaska Weasel out of commission again so worked through drum area to AACS and micro-ner marshes. The snow is still trying to melt, and it is getting to the wet stage. Much display in drum area. 1 pectoral (with no P in sight) by AACS. Did not display. Semi-pale most abundant shorebirds in this area; at least three pairs seen. Still display, both in air and on grounds. Phalaropes are increasing in numbers. Collected feeding observations out and in. Spent the evening at Chamber of Commerce meeting - supposedly Schindler's swan song, but no quorum so no elections.
