Maclan 1965 Journal traplines. Followed ridge, then shifted to South and found 3 egg owl nest back towards pipeline. Location of nests: to nest #1 ridge X #2 X #3 marked by CREEK stake Second nest still has 4 eggs. Conditions cold, windy, and foggy. Went in. 1 June - 4 June - Nome, Alaska In Nome attempting to capture lynx kittens previously located at Pilgrim Hot Springs by Harvey Wier. Warm (50°-55° F.) sunny weather for entire trip. Flew out to Springs in borrowed Super Cub and found 4 lynx has moves kits. Spent one entire night looking and even came face to face with mother, but no luck. Saw abundant ducks - pintails, greater scoop, American wigeon, shovelers. Also Northern Phalaropes, Wilson's Snipe,
