Minty thin courses. There is no chert at
all. The lowest layers lie directly on the
Clinton, are quite hard, and a little like
what I have been accustomed to call
white ore.

towards firm cemented shale alter-

are found in saline barren limestones resembling
the Clinton but another place) 4 in.
