The Coniferous gray Crinoid bed is about 4 ft thick, 39 Base of Black shale 1000. Dark Hemifine grained rock about 2 feet. Gray crinoids, Crin. Plucks very not seen. Only 1-2 feet visible. Saural limestone beneath, 40. Top of Sausal? 982 979. Same limest 3 ft. Oxford shale 2 feet Oxford limestone 22 in. Lower oxford shale Tip of Black Shale 1030. 143 slant distance, SE of Holy Cross Church, 41 Clinton thickness not known Smo Osbgoed clay 38 ft See last section for rest. Can't go counter ex feed 11 feet may be smaller. 42. Top of Columnaria layer below Madison 990. Top of heavy stone above Madison 1008. Clinton fragments above but thickness not known 43 Top of Black Shale 1052 Dark ferrm and 1 foot Crinoid, Crinoidal 8 in, Clinton thickest 6 feet. Within a few hundred feet quarry with wash it runs out. The thinning out can be readily traced. Top of Madison 6 brick beds above Michigan. 11 feet.
