Along rivak to Fly, about 1 mile from Fly, large pl[illegible]tr[e] nodules. 1/2 ft greenish sandy rock with very 4 1/2 ft. Black shale 1 ft of Sandstone J.C. Baker, 2 mi. S. of Fly, at opening up hollow SW road Here the Black shale is exposed with its sand- at the base resting on what I consider Order [illegible], pretty limestone. West. Of Steelley, less than 1/2 mi. from Fly, Black Shale, 17 feet not exposed. 13 feet limest[m]e, Clinton white. 25 feet not exposed. ? Leipers Creek lim[illegible] in stream bed. No certainty about this being Canteri creek. The Clinton is: Halcyites calumnulatus Famities farrowi Large,
