all around the quarry,
cracks are divided in time
11 1/2 ft gray fine grained l. top on
anthracite quarry.
8'1/2ft gray fine grained l. flat ledge
1 1/2 ft soft limed.
suspecting unconformity.
between this & the underlying rock
1 ft white sh fragments with clay to bottom
6 1/2 ft darker fine grained l.
6 1/2 ft whitish strongly slaty l.
3 1/2ft darkish rock, white in part, with
chert.
Face of Harro
Stillmore occurs in the massive
rock, fragments at the top of the
quarry. Do this B.J. Clifty or
Garfield? Since these fragments
may have become intermixed,
thus is uncertain.
Lower half of Warren is a grayish
limestone, Upper half of Fredonia
is a darker limestone interbedded
with white and white rock.
South of the Main quarry 100 yds
there is a small quarry with about
15 ft of white siliceous massive l.
bellow the face of the main
quarry.
