Loc 71 - 618 ft at 4.20 PM, In 202 - 705 ft limestone, 4 ft by fensed. At mills quarry area, at 4.30 PM. Limestone again at 650 At least 5 ft thick. Loc 203 At mill quarry again, 620ft appeared top of Falconia oolitic limestone. at 5 PM, In, 179-635 ft at 5.10 PM, Monday Aug 7 Above driveway, roads & railroadbeds. East of L 85, east of Hancockville, about every 20' a large refuse heap from some coal mine, from about the basal coal Meuron conglomerate. Shucker's E1 town at 12.30, at 1st well, went below this level, about #3750/1500 ft. figuring not for oil but for gas. Then filled up well to 1230 ft & about 1869 and then franked the oil, in 1895 The well furnished 200 bbl of oil for tubinca, ting purposes, 50-100 bbls all run off. The second well begun in 1893, they drill down 400 ft. and then quit. The third well was begun in 1904, got down over 400 ft., drill got stuck & quit; First well was bored 1889, oil was used off, since gas encountered, bank woods, no definite 30-40ft up. The second well was drilled to 200 ft and at 1370, and quit, about 150 ft west of 1st Third well lies between the two.
