ment rock like that at Clifton,
It slopes strongly eastward, and
at the river there occurs plenty of
white limestone with a little
red intercalated at base, which
is probably partly Roemer's bed.
At the Landing a well 50 feet
deep struck plenty of Black slate,
and apparently lime rotten
phosphate rock; depths unknown.
[illegible] mile site, only whitish limestone
like that along the river above the
mouth of Wiles creek, is seen.
R. S. Dany, Saltillo, has his all
about Sherman ville blades.
J. S. Holland went along with
dany on Saltillo visit.
