Mrs. Milligan, great collector of Ten- nesse Waspura fossils lives at Jacks ville, Illinois, about 20 mi. west of Springfield. Ordovician exposures occur on Horse, Indian, Hardin + Beechcreeks xxx On upper part of Beech creek, not more than 4 mi. from Waynes- boro is a path fit and thus one met with in the same stream as going towards its mouth. Cliff m 15 ft.. calcareous shale, 23 ft. fine limestone, Rhyrch. capax dentata Colom. stellata 70 ft. Orthus bed, smooth slays and clay, Variegated bed. occurs on Big Sandy, at local done. S within Henry Cr Birding week Benton Cr From Helderberg, White Sulphur Spgs. S. Hardin Cr. Commencing at a mi. of Big Sandy upstream for 5 or 6 mi. in Henry Cr. S. Benton + in Decatur. 30 ft. at Beardstown, or rather 3 mi. below it. better. Black Shale & Merius can beds seen. 2 mi. al me mi. north of St affals.
