(13) 1/2 miles W of Pegram, just east of bridge. 8-12 ft Devonian 7 3/4 ft clay shale 15 1/2 ft to quite clayey rock A Devonian contario Orbis, flat valve, flat along middle and interior. Muscular scar occupies about 1/2 of the valve. A Devonian fenestrella form similar to one of those found at Newson. The upper 6 inches of the Devonian contains little black nodules like a some of those found in Devonian of Kentucky + Indiana. The upper 1 foot of Devonian emerges into the basal sandy rock of the black shale, but it contains the Devonian Orbis, similar to that found in the limestone films.
