31, at mouth of Tom Bark Hollow Clinton Farnites farrons very common. Fammites viagannus. Halcytes common, at least 13 feet of Clinton. Bone not seen, also trip not seen but apparently no sand here; Black slate. 2 ft white limestone. 10 ft very light exposed. Green? 15 ft solid limestone, white, Lady Clinton Base of Clinton not seen at spring up Tom Bark Hollow. At spring up Terrel's Hollow. Terrel is correct: Halcytes, Farnmites farrons + viasarumis About half way to his spring in black slate? Black slate, 18 ft Clinton. Second limestone At Fagg, 1/2 mile SW. of Totty's Bend PO. 1/2 mile W. of river. 6 1/2 ft Black Slate! 1/2 ft sandstone Farnites farrons 5 ft Clinton diest and white, Dayton &c hard; Lower limestone. Arthur minnat a large blue round; at Godrich, at spring down stream. 31 Clinton at least 16 ft thick. Plenty of chert, especially at trip. So this Clinton or 2 new Carboniferous limestones. No fossils were seen and the rock was not cracked open. It looked very much like Clinton, but the level is 550 and at 569 at least from the limestone in Mountain limestone of Stafford.
