Broke 1934 Dipodomys microps levipes June 30 Mason Valley, 12 mi E Wellington 5000 ft., Lyon Co. Nev: Four specimens were in traps set in Atriplex and Sarcobatus in a desert like area. Numerous trails and burrows were noted. Mason Valley, 5 mi. N Pine Grove, 5300 ft., Mineral Co., Nevada One specimen was found in habitat similar to those above. July 5 12 mi., S Yerington, 4600ft. Lyon Co. Nevada On a rock and boulder strewn hillside on the north side of W. Walker river at the east mouth of the gorge two specimens were found near their workings and one more was found on top of the hill near workings. July 8 3 mi., S Schurz, 4100ft., Mineral Co., Nevada Two specimens were found not far from camp in the Atriplex July 9 Collected an additional specimen in same trap line used July 8.
