Brodo 1934 Ammospermophilus leucurus July 7 3 mi. S Schurz, 4100 ft., Mineral Co., Nevada caught one in net trap at about 5-30 PM It was on a small sandy knoll or mound with a number of burrows about the base of an Atriplex. July 8 I found another specimen in traps that I had left out but it had been in the sun too long and could not be used. The trap was at the same mound as of July 7th July 10 Found another specimen in traps but it was beyond preservation.
