July 19 In the fifty traps set last night I had only four specimens one young and one adult Neotoma lepida, one Peromyscus maniculatus in a trap on top of a large rock, and one Perognathus longimembris panamintinus.
In the gopher traps at Morgans Ranch 5100 ft., E. Walker R. Mineral Co., Nevada I had one specimen. Palmer had two gophers in his traps there, which with the one I got there last night makes 4 specimens of Thomomys bottae from that locality.
Late in the evening set out three sets for gophers near camp.
July 20 Found one gopher in one set only, Thomomys bottae.
Moving day packed and moved early stopped at Yerington, and then went on to Fallon where I left the party and returned to Berkeley. Having had a pleasant and profitable field trip.
