Itinerary
June 27 2 mi. SW Pine Grove, 7250 ft., Mineral Co., Nevada.
Left Berkeley, Calif., 9 A.M. June
26 1934 from Museum of Vertebrate
Zoology with a party of seven
in three cars. The members of the
party were J. Stanley Brode, Elton
R. Edge, Dawson A Feathers, E Raymond
Hall (instructor), David H. Johnson, Fletcher
G. Palmer, and Ward C Russell.
We proceeded to the north to
Carpinez Bridge, Fairfield, Davis;
east to Sacramento, Placerville,
Lake Tahoe and Carson City. South
from Carson City, Nevada, to Mound,
Gardnerville and about 15 miles
further south where we camped
for the night. The next morning
we proceeded on to Wellington, from
there we proceeded south to the Mason
Valley southward to a point 4 1/2 mi.
NE of Pine Grove, where we turned to
the right up a canyon past Pine Grove
to camp site as given at head of page;
arrived here about 11:30 A.M.
